About the Role

 

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented and customer‑focused Fleet Safety Assistant to support our fleet safety and compliance operations. In this role, you’ll assist with monitoring safety programs, reviewing documentation, and supporting internal teams, agents, and van operators in meeting safety and regulatory requirements.

 

You’ll work closely with safety program tools and internal systems to help ensure information is accurate, timely, and properly documented. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting team operations, working with data, and providing responsive customer service in a structured, compliance‑driven environment.

 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Provide courteous and responsive customer service to department team members, agents, and van operators
  • Assist with reviewing information in safety program portals and help confirm required communications have been received and standards are being followed
  • Apply basic knowledge of applicable FMCSRs when performing assigned tasks
  • Support team members with daily safety and compliance‑related activities as needed
  • Assist with tracking and maintaining accurate records, files, and documentation
  • Demonstrate flexibility by helping with a variety of tasks to support department operations

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • 2–4 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with data and documentation
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn internal systems
  • Ability to follow established procedures and manage routine tasks in a deadline‑driven environment
