Under the supervision of management, the Logistics Intern provides support to the Atlas Logistics team by assisting with pricing, carrier coordination, and operational tasks. This entry-level internship offers hands-on experience in the transportation and logistics industry and is ideal for students looking to develop practical skills in freight brokerage and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with quoting and pricing day-to-day transactional freight.

  • Support account analysis and work with carriers to help secure competitive rates.

  • Provide operational support by helping to coordinate and dispatch freight loads.

  • Work under the supervision of a broker to help negotiate rates with carriers.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the logistics team.

Position Details:

  • Employment Type: Internship, hourly
  • Schedule: Full-time during the summer (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week); flexible hours during the school year based on class schedule.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited college, pursuing a degree in Supply Chain & Logistics, Business Management, or a related field preferred.

  • 0–2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
