Atlas is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Finance team as an Accounts Payable Coordinator! The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for all accounts payable invoices, matches PO’s to the invoice, code invoices and review for approvals, enter invoices into the AP system for payment. This position also takes calls from vendors regarding payment status and communications with other departments regarding invoices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enters invoices into the AP system, ensuring timely and correct payments.
  • Processes payments via multiple methods, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
  • Responds to vendor inquiries and provides updates on payment status, ensuring clear communication and resolution of any issues.
  • Liaises with internal departments to ensure proper documentation and approval for invoices and to resolve discrepancies.
  • Assists with reconciling accounts payable records and supports month-end closing activities as needed.

Qualifications

What You'll Need:

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent is required.
  • 0-2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or a similar financial role and/or an equivalent combination of both education and experience are required.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Solid analytical skills to ensure accuracy in financial transactions and data entry.
