Pricing Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Atlas Logistics Team as a Pricing Analyst! The Pricing Analyst functions as support for the Atlas Logistics Pricing Manager and the STG Pricing group. The incumbent provides pricing support to Atlas agents and direct customers of Atlas Logistics and pricing to our customers for transactional, contract and project-based opportunities. This role is expected to understand the methods and have the knowledge to price all modes of transportation; as well as keep up to date on market trends to effectively provide competitive pricing while maintaining expected internal margins.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collects data on carrier rates.
• Assists in pricing transportation and putting together/organizing projects.
• Serves as a point of contact between Atlas Logistics and direct book customers as needed.
• Answers phones and routes calls as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.

What You'll Need:

• Effective problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, basic math skills, and efficient computer skills (Microsoft Office programs)
• 2+ years of sales, customer service, and/or finance clerical/service experience
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, agents, and other outside organizations
