Atlas Canada is seeking an organized, detail-oriented and versatile candidate to join our Avail & Government Services team!  Responsible for overseeing and supervising the day-to-day activities of AVAIL and Government Services. This role will manage the AVAIL team as well as other processes and business relationships.

 

The Manager Avail & Government Services’ core functions include but not limited to the following:

 

Government Services & AVAIL

  • Strategic management of the AVAIL & Government Services department
  • Support the Government RFP project in renewal years
  • Implement and manage the new Government Contract in tandem with the Senior Director, Marketing & Business Development
  • Daily management of the AVAIL staff 
  • Act as the strategic liaison between Atlas Canada Operations and AVAIL & Government Services – manage processes, projects and this important departmental relationship 

Quality Management

  • Create and oversee the execution of the Annual Quality Plan in pursuit of annual quality objectives for all HHG business lines 

Business Development

  • Maintain strong business relationships with corporate clients in tandem with the Marketing department
  • Manage the strategic relationship with the Government client contacts in tandem with the Marketing department 

Administration

  • Management of the AVAIL & Government Services department and associated budgets
  • Management of the annual Quality budget
  • Member of the Pricing Committee and Quality Committee
  • Member of the Operations Committee 

Reporting

  • Reports to Senior Director, Marketing & Business Development
  • Manages the AVAIL team
  • Other duties as assigned

Employment Type & Hours:  Full-time position with work hours between 8:30am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.  Work in office 3 days per week and 2 days remote.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of four to six years of job-related experience in customer service management (managing teams)
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presenting)
  • Government services experience in the van line industry is an asset
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
