Atlas is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our growing Human Resources Team! This position will report directly to the Vice President, Human Resources. The incumbent must maintain complete confidentiality of all information.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process employee data changes related to hires, terminations, position, compensation changes, work location and other confidential forms and records. Complete the notification process (TITA). Interacts with department personnel to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Document management, including setting up new hires and maintaining personnel files, assisting with onboarding.
  • Uses HR software to build and maintain standard and special requested reports and queries. Compile data related to HR metrics such as turnover, time-to-fill, headcount etc.
  • Balances monthly vendor benefit bills and prepares check requisitions. Monitors attendance levels and notifies supervisor when correction action notices are required. Maintains departmental billing.
  • Develops a thorough knowledge of departmental workflow in order to organize and expedite the flow of work through the department in an efficient manner.
  • Answers phone and facilitates appropriate response to HR type inquiries from employees and/or vendors. Open and sorts mail; may respond to routine inquiries.
  • Preparation and mailing of paperwork for FMLA and updating of appropriate systems.


Employment Type & Hours: This full-time position will consist of 40 hours per week, M-F.

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Database, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing software such as Microsoft Office
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, agents, and other outside organizations
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
