Continue to communicate proactively throughout the shipment movement, keeping customers up to date on shipment status by tracking and tracing shipments. - Coordinate and communicate effectively with all parties (internal and external) on movement of the shipment for pack, pick-up, and delivery as well as into and out of Perm Storage. This includes notification of status updates and responding to inquiries, resolving issues; updating shippers/accounts/move coordinators as appropriate (i.e. additional charges, survey results, weight changes/exceeding authorized allowance, customs issues, delays, if required -extended insurance, extension of storage in transit, billing/invoice issues, pre-authorization, value protection, inconvenience claims etc.) to ensure customer satisfaction. - Research, assign and book services for Origin, Destination, Port, Drayage, Linehaul within vendor guidelines (competitive prices, reciprocity, performance, locality, preferred list). Budget relocations to fit within Corporate/National Account allowances or rate quote provided. - Coordinate surveys, obtain and negotiate rate components, create/ quote and rework rates as needed for agents or corporate customers. Maintain and build positive relationships with external service providers. Respond to rate requests in timely manner and secure new accounts/businesses as opportunities presents itself. - Ensure MoveWare system is updated with all pertinent dates, costing information, notes and issues related to the shipment, and required documentations on a timely basis. Close out shipments as appropriate. Submit shipment for billing in timely manner based on shipment types. - Invoice approvals for transportation related services. - Create and send accurate documentations such as House Bill, pre-alerts and instructions as related to routing shipment in timely manner. For National accounts, send all required reporting on status of shipments. Collect information/documents regarding weight, dimensions, inventories, customs information, insurance, payment information and delivery documents. - Assist in training of new hires as assigned. - Other duties may be assigned. This role is crucial in building culture and advancing our talent position to support the business in delivering on their objectives. The HRBP works with other HR colleagues to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.   Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for all Human Resources functions including employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, compensation, implementation and administration of human resources programs and employment policies, training and development, and compliance with Human Resource laws and regulations. - Provide guidance to influence leaders and colleagues, deliver constructive advice, identify, and resolve problems, and positively influence change. - Build credibility and trust with the workforce and leaders. - Provide guidance to leaders on change management and employee development. - Drive innovation to include automation of transactional HR work and leverage shared capabilities across the business. - Strategically focus on attracting, selecting, developing, and retaining motivated individuals - Effectively handle employee concerns and/or grievances and escalate these concerns as necessary. - Manage complex employee issues to resolutions, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations related to workplace matters. - Coach managers and serve as a sounding board on people-related decisions while mitigating risks. - Provide timely and efficient responses to all day-to-day human resources matters from employees and managers. - Provide direction and support to all levels of management, particularly in employee engagement, change management, and leadership. - Build strong, trusted relationships with business leaders to create and execute organizational and people strategies. - Provide policy guidance and interpretation. - Develop and provide training on HR-related topics. - Mitigate risk to the organization and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. - Participate in various projects as necessary. - Other duties may be assigned.
