The Senior Director of IT Network Services will responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the strategy, planning, and execution of all technology initiatives related to the datacenter, network infrastructure, security, operations, data backup, servers, storage, virtualization, communications (internet, cell, phone, email, etc.). Includes all hardware, software, and system administration. Determine best approach for off-site hosting where applicable.
  • Define and establish technical, operational, and strategic planning goals and objectives. Establish and maintain operating procedures. Define architectural guidelines and implements service monitoring across all platforms to ensure high availability and disaster recovery capability of critical systems. Test systems for disaster recovery and implement necessary solutions to assure successful recovery within the predetermined recovery time objective.
  • Develop annual plans to provide guidance for all activities over the next year and provide general direction for activities over the next 3 to 5 years. Negotiate vendor contracts/renewals including business case ROI determination for all infrastructure-related activities. Strike an appropriate balance between lean and quality IT Operations. Effectively lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by monitoring service/performance levels, fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT Systems across the organization. Create, maintain, and monitor IT operational and capital budgets.
  • Responsible for developing all standards concerning hardware and software as it pertains to infrastructure used by Atlas Van Lines and all AWG affiliates. Will act as a consultant for Atlas Canada, Atlas International, and Titan Global in all matters concerning aspects of IT-related issues at Cornerstone Relocation Group, including all aspects of the HR functions, such as hiring and supervision of IT personnel at the Cornerstone Relocation site. Incumbent will act as liaison between Cornerstone Relocation Group personnel and any third party vendor that is involved in IT products.
  • Develop the infrastructure team and mentor talent to deliver outstanding customer service throughout the technology areas. Attract and retain talent through positive employee relations and robust succession planning. Enable a constant learning environment for all team members. Develop a culture of strong communication, feedback, accountability, rewards, and performance to drive employee engagement initiatives.

Employment Type & Hours: 

  • Full-time position (40 hours per week)
  • Hours fall between 8:00am and 5:00pm, M-F

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or GED, Associate’s degree, 5-10 years of job-related experience, and/or an equivalent combination of both education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
