If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and area a goal-driven individual with high energy, we want you!  Atlas Van Lines is seeking a rational, detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team!  The Dispatcher will serve as the point of contact for van operators, agents, and customers during the relocation of a shipment.  This role will ensure can operators and agents have all pertinent information and follows up to ensure specifics are met.

• Assign shipment loads to van operators
• Update and sequence loads in TMW
• Look for additional shipments when a van operator has available space
• Ensure van operators/agents have all pertinent load/shipment information
• Monitor van operator activities, including outbound and inbound van operators
• Accurately manage shipment updates, including participant notification and data entry
• Locate available space for a shipment desingated by Planner/management
• Monitor van operator and equipment qualifications to ensure compliance with Fleet and Safety departments
• Provide accurate and concise reports to management as assigned

Employment Type & Hours: This full-time position will consist of 40 hours per week. Hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm, M-F. Possible overtime.

• Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, oral and communication skills
• Knowledge of Database, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing software such as Microsoft Office
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, agents, and other outside organizations
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• High School Diploma/Equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
