Accounting Coordinator will work closely with the Logistics Operations team and be responsible for reviewing and inputting the related financial transactions of this division, including billing and accounts payable. This position will prepare and process customer invoices, receive and match vendor invoices to POs to release for payment as well as respond to customer, vendor and internal staff inquiries regarding these transactions.
The Accounting Coordinator’s duties include the following:
Employment Type & Hours: This full-time position will consist of 40 hours per week. Hours fall between 8:00am and 5:00pm, M-F. Possible overtime during peak season.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma and/or GED, 1-3 years of work-related experience, and/or equivalent combination of both education and experience.

Communication performed internally includes the exchange detailed information or resolve varied problems. Communication performed internally and externally includes developing and maintaining relationships to enhance work flow and work quality.
Decision Making
Decisions could have an impact on Logistics’ relationships with customers, vendors and the divisional financial statements.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to respond to financial inquiries. Ability to write descriptions and explanations in a concise and coherent manner. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customer, vendors and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute ratios, and percentages.
Computer Skills
Intermediate knowledge of Accounting software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Reasoning Abilities
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
