Atlas Van Lines is seeking a rational, detail-oriented candidate to work as a Supervisor of Customer Service on our Claims Services team.

The Supervisor, Customer Service is responsible for providing day-to-day direction to members of Claims Services including performance management and timecard management.

 

In addition, this position will be responsible for the essential duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee and supervise daily activities of assigned Claims Services staff.  Provide supervision and daily guidance on workload management, sets daily/weekly/monthly goals for production, mentors on processes and establishes work schedules.
  • Handle training of all incoming and established personnel. Is the system administrator. Manages all reporting needs including development.  Responsible for the annual service award program.
  • Interprets company policy and procedures and instructs staff on best practices.  Works in compliance with established procedures and/or protocols.  Provides recommendations on process improvement

 

Employment Type & Hours: This full-time position will consist of 40 hours per week. Hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm, M-F. Possible overtime.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree, 3-5 years' of work-related experience, and/or equivalent combination of both education and experience are required
  • Previous experience managing a team is preferred
  • Effective problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent reasoning ability
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, agents, and other outside organizations
